STORIE:

To us, every love story is beautiful. A unique story written by God, of how two people choose to live, love and serve together, for the glory of His name. We met in 2019 in Stellenbosch.

After 5 years of endless adventures, CP put a ring on it and so the wedding planning began! We spent weekends venue hopping until we found the perfect place to get married on 11 October 2025. From there, we chose vendors who brought our vision of a joyful, elegant, and timeless wedding, to life.

The weekend was spent between the mountains of Kaleo, in the heart of the Koue Bokkeveld, with our loved ones. The morning began peacefully in the manor house, where the girls prayed together before getting ready with music and laughter echoing through the rooms. Nearby, the men started their day cooking breakfast and playing cricket, with joyful moments shared in brotherhood.

Our ceremony took place beneath the trees, with a cool breeze moving gently through the fresh green leaves, symbolising new beginnings. Joy was seen in the smile of the groom, dressed in his black suit, as his elegant bride walked down the aisle with her dad and colourful bridesmaids – dressed in her white dress and orchid bouquet made by her mother. Standing there, surrounded by the people we love most, we deeply felt God’s presence, as nature became our cathedral.

While our guests enjoyed canapes under open skies, we slipped away to capture our first sunset as husband and wife. The reception embodied our theme perfectly: elegant white tables adorned with soft florals and handwritten notes. Against this canvas of simplicity, our guests brought vibrant life in colourful dresses, paired with classic black suits. The room was alive with laughter and dancing in celebration of love.

Every detail captured by Cilliers Visser Weddings, tells the story of a day that was an experience of love, faith, and community. We celebrated our marriage and the gift of gathering with those we cherish, in a place that reflects God’s artistry.
