STORIE:

Our wedding was the result of 15 months of intentional planning, creativity, and heart — a journey I undertook independently while completing my Honours degree and working a full-time job. Balancing these commitments required discipline and dedication, and every decision was guided by love and purpose.

From the outset, our vision was to create a celebration that felt timeless, elegant, and deeply personal. Our venue provided a romantic yet sophisticated backdrop, allowing our guests to feel both inspired and at ease. The décor was thoughtfully curated down to the finest detail, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience.

My wedding dress, Silvia by Enzoani, was a true reflection of my individuality and journey, while Dean’s classic tuxedo complemented the overall aesthetic with understated elegance.

Personal touches were at the heart of our day. All stationery and wedding water labels were designed by me, and our welcome sign was lovingly DIYed by my dad — a sentimental detail that added warmth and authenticity to the celebration.

What made our wedding truly special was the intention behind every detail. Planning the wedding myself allowed each element to tell a story of commitment, growth, and love built over time, creating an atmosphere filled with genuine emotion and joy.

More than a celebration, our wedding marked the beginning of a new chapter. After four years of planning exquisite events professionally, planning my own wedding reignited a passion that inspired me to launch my own wedding planning business (Vows & Vision) on 5 January 2026.

We believe our wedding deserves to be Wedding of the Year because it showcases the beauty of intention, personal storytelling, and a love brought to life with purpose.
